You know his name. You recognize his hat, leather jacket, and whip. You love his quirky remarks and his thirst for adventure. So do I. Indiana Jones is a classic unlike most classics. George Lucas and Steven Spielberg has and continues to spellbind moviegoers of all ages regardless of their generation gap with this trilogy. I weathered his clothes with sand paper, acrylic paint, and light pastels. His clothes, gun, and weapon belt were all bought loose. The head and hat was purchased through Lonnie Hale's Hero Heads site. Lonnie threw in a free recasting of the Toys McCoy golden idol for me free of charge, which I thought was awesomely cool - something by the collector for a collector. Lonnie, if you're reading this, thank you.
The whip was from the "Relic Hunter" knock off produced by In the Past Toys. The quality is quite good and is made of real leather straps. I took the laboring oar to print out and make myself the grail diary you see above. I printed out and glued the pages together and bound it with a piece of pleather. There is a set that is also professionally made on eBay that is of excellent quality. However, after spending about $100 to make this figure, I didn't feel like spending an extra $30 plus to get the grail diary set. Indy is relatively easy to make. I'm still not very satisfied with the paint job (mainly because it's one of my very first paint jobs ever) so I'll strip and repaint the head one of these days. But other than that, I'm happy with the accessories and weathering results. My Favorite
