Samuel L. Jackson is one of my favorite actors. It's too bad he didn't get recognized for his performances early on and didn't really hit stardom until later in his film career. Sam Jackson is one brother I'd love to see, regardless of how bad the film really is. He just makes it all that much better.
The official DML release of the SWAT figures are pretty bad. The sculpts look nothing like the actors and was way overpriced. For $45, you basically get a crappy sculpt and little to no gear. Although, DML has made some improvements on their SWAT vests, they are still nowhere as good as the BBI released SWAT figures. The only cool thing to come out of Dragon's version were the rather cool ballistic glasses, which I bought a ton of through Outer Perimeter Toys and eBay. The Colin Farrell sculpt was decent but the rest looked pretty awful, including the Sam Jackson sculpt.

Here's another pretty simple custom. The head is purchased from Poppo Toys. I added his moustache with Apoxie clay and repainted it. The cool glasses are from the new Hot Toys SWAT 2.0 figure. His knee pads are also from Hot Toys. Boots are the new weathered model from Dragon and the rest of his gear are typical BBI and Dragon stuff. I added the patch on his vest to house the three shotgun shells, pliers and punch knife like the Jack Travern Speed figure.
