| LIEUTENANT BRUCE - SPECIAL OPS | |||||||||||||
Alright, this marks my very first military project. So if you real life commandos, military experts, and weapons instructors see if I'm doing something wrong, please drop me a line! My experience with military items is next to nothing. Actually, it is nothing. Heck, I had a hard time assembling the straps on weapons when I first debox a figure. Anyways, this Bruce Willis head was another head sculpted by Andrew Lin. The head is very excellent. The facial details are just totally unbelievable. I repainted it as usual and gave him a Dragon body. I outfitted him with the new BBI vests. Most of his gear are various products from both BBI and Dragon. The hands are just standard gloved hands from Dragon. I weathered his clothes with acrylic paint and pastels and "dustied" him up a little with real dirt. I also tried to paint his gun with matching camo from his outfit. I don't think I did too well, but oh well. Maybe I'll get better with the next camo project. I've never really liked military stuff and Lt. Bruce marks my first military bash. After completing Bruce, I've been hooked on anything war-related and have since bought a ton of military items. Now I know why there are more military hobbyists out there than anything else. Movie figures and sci-fi stuff is still my main thing, but I think I've just earned a new taste.
